Remington 870
Remington 870 is a pump-action shotgun manufactured by Remington Arms Company, Inc. Remington 870 is widely used by the public for target shooting, hunting, and self-defense. It is also commonly used by law enforcement and the military worldwide.
Introduced in 1950 to directly compete against the Winchester Model 12, the Remington 870 has become the best selling shotgun in American history with sales numbers racked up in excess of 9 million shotguns.
Remington 870 Variants:
- Remington 870 Wingmaster – polished bluing and glossy or satin finished walnut.
- Remington 870 Express – inexpensive matte black bead-blasted finish and stocks and fore ends of synthetic, laminated wood or solid wood of a lesser grade than found on the Wingmaster, as well as some plastic components which are metal on the Wingmaster.
- Remington 870 Marine – synthetic stocks and nickel finishes.
